ML Interiors were approached by a leading main contractor based in Cambridge to continue a project based in the Cambridge Research Park. We have previously completed works for the first phase but were asked to provide a quotation for the second.

OVAL is an industry-leading company who have improved medical technologies on a global scale by designing and manufacturing patient-centric autoinjector platforms.

Due to their continued growth, OVAL have moved to their new purpose-designed facility which provides GMP labs, enhanced device development, space to house the expanded team and room for supporting the demand for subcutaneous and intramuscular drug formulations.

The second phase required us to supply packages which included the following:

100mm double skin partitions:

-50mm track and stud

-2 x 12.5mm wallboard each side

-25mm insulation

-Deflection head

208mm jumbo double skin partition:

-146mm track and stud

-2 x 15mm soundbloc each side

-25mm insulation

-Deflection head

Ceilings:

-Rockfon Hygienic Square Edges tiles 600x600mm

-Rockfon Artic Tegular Edged tiles 600x600mm

-Both set in Armstrong 24mm Prelude grid.

-MF 60-minute fire rated ceiling.

Maple framed 60/60 fire rated screens

Hardwood framed NFR screen

Single glazed partitions – 12mm toughened glass

60-minute fire rated door sets including ironmongery and signage

Square edged and laminate skirtings

ML Interiors recently undertook a small project which entailed the installation of internal fire-rated doors. During the tendering stages of the project, we worked closely with our client to ensure that the fire doors would meet all their specific needs; including the fire rating and from an aesthetic perspective.

We were able to obtain several quotes from different reputable suppliers, which enabled us to provide a quote that was not only fantastic value for money but also included several finishing options for the client to choose from.

Once the client confirmed the doors they wanted, we were able to place the order so that we could begin work punctually and keep to the schedule of works throughout the entire project. We only used top quality products when installing the doors, which ensured they would meet all guidelines necessary.

ML Interiors were recently asked to undertake an office fit-out project for a leading main contractor in Reading. The project entailed several different packages including partitions, glazing, doors, skirting and the installation of a brand-new tea point.

 ML Interiors were recently asked to undertake a project which included a ceiling raft feature. We were able to work according to our client’s architectural drawings and have managed to work hassle and snag-free. The entire project included solid partitions, joinery, skirtings, fire rated works, ceilings, and the ceiling raft.

When sourcing our materials for this project, we made sure to use reputable and trustworthy suppliers who have a reputation for delivering high quality products for the most affordable prices.

ML Interiors were recently asked to carry out a refurbishment for GHD on behalf of Coel, a main contractor based in Cambridge. The entire project will include the supply and installation of partitions, skirtings, doors, a tea point, and a timber slatted feature wall.

Like all of our projects, we were able to quickly provide a quotation and commence work within the following weeks. We only order high performance materials from reliable suppliers for every project, and we arranged for everything to be delivered to the site in time for work to commence.

Last year we were very fortunate to carry out a project for a main contractor based in the Cambridge area.  After completing several projects for the same company, we were asked back to transform an office space for a company specialising in technology. It was important to our client for us to install a brand-new office space that promotes productivity and reflects the nature of the business.

Our team of professional installers were able to prepare the area for work and made sure that all existing furniture was protected and put into a safe place beforehand. Throughout the entire project we were always able to keep our client updated; ensuring that they were always satisfied.

ML Interiors were asked to complete an extensive fit out which included pulling out partitions, tea points, vinyl flooring, ramps, stone flooring, carpet tiles, and much more. This project was carried out by our fully qualified and experienced installers, who were able to tailor all work to meet the client’s specific needs and requirements.

Within this building, ML Interiors refurbished all doors and frames, installed double skin sold partitioning to form a new communications room, supply and installed new skirtings to partitions, and supply and install graphite cupboards as per the drawings provided to us. Once all work had been completed, we were left with a clean and functional working space which also included a tea point.

Once all work had been completed, we made sure to remove all waste and handed over the new offices in fantastic condition; just as you’d expect from a leading fit out specialist. All materials used by us are high performance and are sourced by reputable suppliers; so, you can rest assured that we will deliver on both fantastic workmanship and quality.

After completing a 5 floor HQ fit out last year for a Cambridge based main contractor, we were asked to improve the acoustics in another building for their client Birketts.

Our remit was to remove the existing single glazed screens and replace them with double glazed screens.

We also installed acoustic barriers above the partitions in the ceiling void and over cladding, and we applied soundbloc plasterboards where the partitions existed.

Existing timber doors were fitted with acoustic drop-down seals to ensure confidentiality between rooms.

This part of the project was carried out over weekends to enable business to carry on during the working week with minimal disruption.

As part of our package we are joined two demises and re-configured a floor below; installing new Logika partitioning, glazing, and door sets.

ML Interiors were asked to complete a Category A+ office fit out, which was undertaken in an efficient manner to meet all project specifications within budget.  The project was carried out by our fully trained and qualified installers.

Within this singular building, ML Interiors installed six different suites which included kitchens and tea points. It was highly important that the new offices promoted privacy, which is why we installed highly effective acoustic rafts throughout the whole building.

During this project, we used high performance materials from a variety of suppliers to achieve the required finish. Our packages included partitions, acoustic double glazing, timber door sets and tea points.
